The short version

Your cruise, your drinks log and your menu photos stay on your iPhone. There's no account, no analytics and no advertising, and nothing you enter is sent to us.

What the app stores, on your phone only

Your sailing: cruise line, ship, dates, route and the people in your cabin (names you type, which can be nicknames).
The drinks you log, with any prices, bars and times you add.
Photos of bar menus you take in the app, and the prices read from them. Text is read on the phone; location details are removed when a photo is saved.
If you turn on the app lock, a scrambled copy of your PIN in the iPhone Keychain. Face ID is handled by iOS; the app never sees your face data.

Deleting the app deletes all of this.

What leaves your phone

Once a day, when online, the app asks frankfurter.app for the day's dollar exchange rate. The request contains only the two currency codes, nothing about you.
Links you tap (sources, our other apps, email) open in Safari or Mail as normal.

Reminders

Evening reminders are scheduled on your phone by iOS. You can turn them off in the app or in iPhone Settings.
